WHO GOES TO THE CHIROPRACTOR

The patients represent a cross-section of the population: every age group, from infants to centenarians, men and women, and members of all professions are affected.
Chiropractic takes this into account. With rare exceptions, almost all patients with spinal problems can be treated chiropractically.
80 percent of the population suffer from back pain and related discomfort at least once in their lives.
As with any medical treatment, a thorough examination precedes the application of chiropractic. If necessary, X-rays are taken or further diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT scan, bone density measurement) are ordered.
Chiropractic has its limitations; when necessary, patients are referred to a specialist. Interdisciplinary collaboration and close communication with general practitioners and specialists are now standard practice and indispensable.
